Thoroughly enjoyable overnight stay. Lovely well-heated, spacious room with bath, shower and Nespresso coffee. Robes provided, along with large soft towels. Staff uniformly friendly and helpful. Best of all was the dinner: every course superb, request for a romantic table fulfilled, staff attentive but not intrusive, and felt we could dine at our own pace. A few issues prevented a 5/5 review: initially given a room without a sea view as promised, and there was an error in the bill (both problems quickly remedied without fuss). More concerning was that we arrived for our dinner at the time booked, but were ushered to the bar for pre-dinner drinks - if we had wanted drinks before dinner we would have gone to the bar earlier. It would have been fine if we'd been given the menu to peruse, but we were just left there until called to our table about twenty minutes later? A bit odd though, as above, the dinner was worth the wait (this really was 5/5). In any case, my wife was delighted with my choice – and that's what counts!
Well looked after by His Excellency Mr William And Cath Costley.
